Board MemberJoel Molitor grew up on a farm in Hastings and is an alum of SEAS School. After graduating from the University of St. Thomas, he began a career in financial advising, serving in a variety of roles over the years. In 2023, Joel and his wife felt called to return to Hastings, rejoin the family farm, and raise their children in the same community that had been such a blessing in his own life. Today, Joel is a partner at Molitor Brothers Farm.
Grateful for the impact SEAS and the Hastings community have had on his family, Joel is excited to give back through his service on the HCEF Board. He hopes to use his background in financial advising to offer valuable perspective in balancing present needs with future goals.
Joel and his wife, Sarah, have been married for 16 years and are raising four children—Charlie, Teddy, Lily, and Joseph—all of whom attend SEAS. Their family enjoys the rhythms of farm life, participating in sports and activities including basketball, baseball, football, soccer, dance, and 4H, where they raise and show cattle. When time allows, Joel and Sarah enjoy date nights spent golfing, hiking, dining out, or simply enjoying some peace and quiet together.
