Annual Scholarship Program

- 2026 Scholarship Information
  
  The Hastings Catholic Education Foundation launched their first annual scholarship program in 2022!
  Alumni students from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Hastings, MN, who attended for a minimum of three years will be eligible to apply to receive one of two $1,000 scholarship towards post-secondary education in 2026! Students must be entering their first year of post-secondary education, up to the age of 23.

- We are thrilled to announce Olivia Hanson and Mary Strommen as the 2025 recipients of the HCEF Scholarship!
  Both young women are proud alumni of the SEAS Class of 2021 and exemplify the spirit of Catholic education through their faith, leadership, and commitment to excellence. From their early days in the halls of SEAS to their current pursuits, Olivia and Mary have demonstrated compass ion, perseverance, and a deep sense of purpose.
  They were recognized at this year’s Spring Fling event, where their accomplishments and aspirations were celebrated by our community. As they begin their post-secondary journeys this fall, we pray they continue to grow in wisdom and grace.

- Please join us in congratulating Emma Kelly and Lily Kummer, the 2024 recipients of the HCEF Scholarship!
  Alumni of the SEAS Class of 2020, both Emma and Lily began their Catholic education in kindergarten and have exemplified the values of faith, service, and academic excellence throughout their journey.
  They were recognized during our annual Spring Fling event, where their achievements and aspirations were celebrated by the community. This fall, Emma will continue her studies at the College of Saint Benedict, and Lily will attend North Dakota State University.
  Let us keep them—and all graduates from the SEAS family—in our prayers as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
- We’re delighted to recognize Ella  Dohmen and Evan  Koenigs as the 2023 recipients of the HCEF scholarship!
  Both began their SEAS journey in preschool and graduated with the eighth grade class of 2019. Their scholarship applications stood out for   their thoughtful reflections on faith, service, and the transformative role  of Catholic education in their lives.
  During this year’s Spring Fling celebration, Ella and Evan were honored for their outstanding character and commitment to their communities.   This fall, Ella is headed to Saint Benedict’s College, while Evan will begin his studies at North Dakota State University. We pray for their continued growth in faith and purpose as they take this exciting next step.

  Ella reflects fondly on her time at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton SEAS), crediting the strong sense of community and faith-filled environment for shaping her into the compassionate, purpose-driven person she is today.

  Ella has embarked on her next chapter at St. Catherine’s University, carrying forward the values instilled at SEAS. We’re proud to support her journey and can't wait to see the impact she makes.
